Organizers of the 2021 Chautauqua Gran Fondo Provide Update on 2021 Event Charities

The seventh annual Chautauqua Gran Fondo cycling for charity event took place on Saturday, August 21, at Mayville Lakeside Park. More than 500 cyclists from all over the country participated in this family-friendly event, designed to promote health and well-being for cyclists of all skill levels.
This event, hosted by the Chautauqua Region Music Alliance (CRMA), raised over $3,000 in support of local charities including The Creche, The Bemus Point – Stow Ferry and the Mayville Library.
Next year’s Chautauqua Gran Fondo charity cycling event is scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 2022, and will once again take place at Mayville Lakeside Park. The Chautauqua Gran Fondo is a community event designed to promote health and well-being for cyclists of all skill levels while raising funds for local charities and promoting tourism around Chautauqua Lake.
This cycling-for-charity event, hosted by the Chautauqua Region Music Alliance (CRMA), serves as the primary tool to raise funds and increase awareness for projects that encourage childhood literacy in addition to arts-in-education programs around the region.
To date, CRMA and the Chautauqua Gran Fondo event has raised more than $10,000 for charities around the region.
