Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market

Opening day on May 27 marked true success with 34 vendors lining the cross sidewalks in central Moore Park on Main Street in the village of Westfield. People came to celebrate the sunshine, fresh strawberries, baked goods and generally soak in the sights and smells of the market atmosphere. Attendees filled the sidewalks all day as the farmers and artisans were busy selling their freshly picked first crop and handcrafted art to eager customers. The beautiful background musical sounds of Westfield’s live musician, Tom Troccoli, plays all day giving the market a warm homey feeling where people sit at the provided tables and chairs in the park. You can make an entire day of the market bringing kids and friends to enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, and sausages, curly fries, fresh made kettle corn, coffee, and let’s not forget the added bonus of the infamous Amish donuts. But if you want one, you better come early, the donuts are often sold out before noon. Westfield Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market – minutes from thruway exit 60 at the intersection of RTS 394 and 20 in the village. Come join us this season, every Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of September, bring a friend and stay a while. www.westfieldmkt.com
