Veterans Museum Bus Trip

Members of the Fenton History Center’s Vets Finding Vets group will host a one day bus trip to the World War II Museum in Eldred, PA. Veterans of any age are welcome, and the group is especially eager to share this trip with as many World War II Veterans as possible. Admission to the Eldred Museum, transportation, and lunch is free to World War II Veterans, all others Veterans will be responsible for their lunch.

The trip will take place Saturday, Oct 29th, leaving the Fenton History Center’s Museum parking lot at 9:00 am. The Fe nton Museum is located at 67 Washington St, and interested Veterans must register with the Fenton History Center by Oct 21 either by stopping by or calling 664-6256. The bus will leave the Eldred Museum at 3:00 PM and will arrive back at the Fenton History Center parking lot at approximately 4:15.

No fee is required for bus transportation, and wheelchair accessibility is available on the bus and at the Eldred Museum. If a civilian caretaker or family member needs to accompany a Veteran, they will be responsible for the Eldred Museum admission of $5.00 and their own lunch expense. This trip is made possible by contributions from a number of the local Veterans groups and the Chautauqua County Office of Veterans Services.
