OK, friends, winter is here. But it seems some of us still haven’t noticed. Just last week I barely missed three accidents with people who forgot (or new drivers who haven’t yet learned?) that brakes don’t work on snow like they do on summer roads. I watch them slide halfway through the intersections I was headed for. Drive slow, test your brakes, and slow down LONG BEFORE the intersection. There’s no part of your car I want crumpled up against mine. Brake it or break it.
