You are invited to step back in time and delight your senses at the annual Kinzua Heritage festival in beautiful Russell PA. The festival takes place Friday, August 23 (11 am-7 pm), Saturday, August 24 (10 am-7 pm) and Sunday, August 25 (10 am-5 pm). The Festival, in its 14th year is nestled in a shady wooded glen on Fox Hill Road.
The sounds from the two stages can be heard throughout the festival. The mouth-watering smells from the food vendors will make it hard to choose your next meal.
You will be fascinated by the variety of artisans; many dressed in period costumes, spread throughout the woods. From blacksmiths to wood, leather, instrument, fabric and bead crafts; all are happy to share their passion and knowledge of their creations.
Enjoy a treat from one of the food vendors and tap your toes to the lively folk music as you relax by one of the two stages. Bands will be entertaining all weekend.
Children will have fun in the fairy-like setting dancing to the live music and making a craft to take home in the designated children’s craft area. There is also a petting zoo for all to enjoy.
Come out to the hills of Russell, PA and learn about our unplugged, acoustical traditions.
