St. Luke’s Thrift Shop will be holding their Annual “End of Winter” clearance sale on Thursday and Friday, March 15th and 16th from 10am to 2pm and Saturday, March 17th from 10am to 1pm.
“This is our big winter clearance to make room for spring and summer merchandise.” says Barbara Kiddoo, Thrift Shop Manager. “Every item in the store will be $1 or less. Our motto is ‘If it’s in the store – it’s out the door’. Our merchandise is very high quality – almost like new – including brand name and designer items, so this is an amazing deal”
St. Luke’s Thrift Shop has been a major benefactor to the community over the past three decades, awarding over $400,000 in assistance to dozens of area agencies. All proceeds from the Thrift Shop return to the community in the form of grant awards. Ms. Kiddoo noted that the Thrift Shop welcomes applications from local agencies for consideration of grant funding. Organizations interested in more information about the application should contact St. Luke’s Church Office at 716-483-6405.
“We are very humbled by the hard work and dedication of our thrift shop volunteers.” says the Rev. Luke Fodor, Rector of St. Luke’s. “These women and men work tirelessly to keep the operations running smoothly and efficiently. The fact that the thrift shop is such a generous source of support to so many as a result of this work is admirable.”
