‘See What I’m Saying,’ a documentary about deaf entertainers, will be shown at 7 p.m. on October 20 on Jamestown Community College’s Jamestown Campus.
The film, sponsored by JCC’s campus life program and the college program committee of JCC’s Faculty Student Association, will be shown in the Student Union in the Hamilton Collegiate Center. Admission is $3 and tickets are available at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Jamestown/Warren Deaf Club.
Directed and produced by Hilary Scarl, ‘See What I’m Saying’ is an award-winning documentary that follows four well-known entertainers in the deaf community: a comic, a drummer, an actor, and a singer. The film explores how the four overcome personal obstacles and celebrate professional landmarks.
