With an undefeated record and a roster that will soon have enough players for a second team, the Warrin’ Wrecking Dolls’ inaugural season has seen them succeed where most roller derby leagues have struggled.

Currently 5-0, the Dolls have become a solid competitor in the northwest PA area. With opponents that have included a league champion from last year, the Dolls have beaten their opponents by at least 60 points in every game. But, it’s the other beatings that have excited their fans. “We’re going to hit you,” says Wrecking Dolls head coach, Hank Delgado. “We are developing a reputation of being the highly physical team. The Dolls’ style of play is fast and hard hitting.”

With one game remaining in their schedule, The Wrecking Dolls are looking to end the season undefeated and put on a great show for their fans. “The fans have been wonderful this year,” says Goblynn, league founder and team captain. Their goal now is to keep up the positive momentum. Keep winning and continue to create a culture that is appealing to all women who can appreciate a full-contact sport.

The Dolls will take on J-Town Roller Derby on Saturday, September 17th, Allen Park Arena at 6 p.m. in Jamestown, NY. The halftime spotlight charity will honor athletes from the Warren, PA Chapter of the Special Olympics. For more information or tickets visit or the Warrin’ Wrecking Doll’s Facebook page.
