On February 28, the Prendergast Library will offer extended hours and a wide range of activities in their Makerspace. The space will be open from 2:00-5:00, and children and adults are invited to drop in and try out any of the materials available in the Makerspace.

Activities available during the open house will include playing with robots, making stop-motion films, using a green screen, building with Lego and K’nex, as well as art projects and crafts.

The Makerspace is open every Tuesday through Friday, from 3:30-5:00. The space encourages STEAM-based learning, with staff-guided projects that involve science, technology, engineering, art, and math. There is no charge to use the space, and all ages are welcome.
