Prendergast Library to Hold 13th Annual Murray L. Bob Memorial Lecture

Dr. Robin Valeri, professor of psychology at St. Bonaventure University, will deliver the 13th Annual Murray L. Bob Memorial Lecture. Valeri will discuss the issue of hate groups in her presentation at the Prendergast Library on Wednesday November 8 at 6:30 p.m.

As a professor of psychology, Dr. Valeri has taught and written extensively about social influence and attitudes, group dynamics, and hate groups. She has been published in many academic journals including American Behavioral Scientist and Journal of Applied Sociology.

The Bob lecture, which honors a longtime director of Prendergast Library and the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System, is free and open to the public. The library is located at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. For information, call 484-7135.
