Have you driven down Third Street lately? If so, you might notice a new digital sign on the exterior of the Northwest Arena.
The sign installation is part of Northwest Bank’s commitment to the arena’s rebranding as the Northwest Arena, which kicked off last year with new signage throughout the interior and exterior of the building and a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
“We’re so happy to be a part of the Jamestown community and have an opportunity to help amidst its revitalization,” notes area manager Joelle Washer. “This sign can be used to let the community know about upcoming area events, like the annual Lucille Ball Comedy Festival as well as events happening at the arena.”
“We’re so thankful that Northwest is such a great supporter of the arena,” notes Sherry Hutley, Northwest Arena director of sponsorship and marketing. “Having a digital sign is something the arena has needed for a long time and we’re grateful that Northwest and the city of Jamestown has worked together on making it happen for us. As a nonprofit organization, we appreciate our sponsors and the community support that makes it possible for us to bring different events downtown.”
Northwest is proud to support the arena, which is a popular destination for local community and sports events and is the home of the Southern Tier Xpress Hockey team.
