Marvin Community House
In honor of the late Virginia F. Lind, the Marvin Community House was privileged to receive a generous donation from her family. The installation includes a memorial stone and flagpole. The flagpole is equipped with automatic sensors which illuminate the flag at night.
The Marvin Community House was fortunate to be one of the many civic organizations to which Ginny selflessly donated her time. During her years of service there she held the offices of trustee, president, and committee chair; she was active on a variety of projects. Ginny was also honored as Woman of the Year in 1977.
This memorial not only honors Ginny, but greatly enhances the appearance of our stately mansion. The mission of the Marvin House is to foster the intellectual pursuits of members and friends by providing a convenient and hospitable meeting place. When the Marvin House flagpole shines at night, we will remember Ginny.
