Wits ‘n Giggles Stand-Up Comedy brought to you by Bud Light and Comfort Inn returns to the Northwest Arena Saturday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m. This fifth show of the season features headliner, Dan Ellison; feature, Cody Cooper; and host, Casey Love.
Feature act, Cody Cooper, has all the Midwestern warmth and charm balanced with an egoless lunacy where he’ll do anything for a laugh. Having opened for Josh Wolf, Louie Anderson, and Frank Caliendo, Cody fits in any part of the show, bringing a jolt of energy to any crowd and any demographic. His story is easily relatable, and leaves the audiences wanting to be his friend.
Returning to headline his second Wits ‘n Giggles show is fan favorite, Dan Ellison. Known as “The Educated Redneck”, Dan began his life in West Virginia, which many consider to be the basis for his strange views on life. After graduating high school, Dan moved to Ohio, and eventually found his way into the wild world of comedy. While it may have taken him 27 years to start comedy, it didn’t take him long to discover that comedy was what he was meant to do. His comedy reflects his growing up in West Virginia and touches on everything from politics to women. His act can be anything the audience desires, and on February 16, his audience will be Jamestown, NY.
