King’s Heating & Cooling of Falconer, N.Y. is pleased to announce their 70- year anniversary in the heating and cooling field. The family owned and operated business was founded in 1946 and offers a full suite of HVAC and sheet metal fabrication services to clients throughout the area.
Kings’ Heating & Cooling was originally known as Thorpe and King, and was founded by Paul H. King and Clifford Thorpe. Shortly after starting in business, King’s son Conrad joined the business and Mr. Thorpe sold his share to him. Currently, the business is presided over by Conrad’s son Terry, alongside his brother Leslie, and nephew Mike. Wayne and Bill King round up the fourth generation working for the family business. Kings’ Heating & Cooling specializes in complete HVAC solutions for homeowners and business alike. Because of the sheet metal fabrication portion of their business, they are able to design ductwork for the systems they install, and to work with heavy structural materials to match architectural designs from blueprints. They use computer controlled sheet metal cutting technology, so they are able to provide customers with customized solutions. Additionally, they offer complete indoor air quality services and products, including air purification and humidification.
According to Terry King, a company-wide philosophy of customer commitment is what makes the greatest impact on the company’s longevity. “Overall, after 70 years in business, we are well-known and well-respected in our market area,” Terry said. “This is not an easy achievement, and comes only when your company operates like a team and shares common goals and ideals. We continue to thrive due to our reputation and high-quality products and installations.”
