The holidays are a full of family events, class reunions and company get-togethers. But they aren’t Halloween parties. Just go as yourself, no masks, costumes or make-believe. I’m tired of “party brags,” people who saved the world, raised genius kids, got promoted to CEO or Pope or Super Hero, moved to the best, biggest, most-expensive home in the best neighborhood… or just about any other jaw-droppingly amazing thing that’s supposed to impress me. Please just bring plain-old you to the party. That’s the one I always liked best anyway.
