It always costs somebody

I live here and shop at stores run by people who live here. Why do some customers waste our local merchants’ money? A bit of every credit card sale goes to the credit card company and eats the merchants’ profits. I hate seeing people pay for a $1.00 item with a card. Merchants should refuse to sell anything less than $5 on a card. We need them here and prosperous. It’s not hard to carry a little pin money. It costs you the same and helps the shopkeeper.
