Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc. has recently been awarded funding from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation to support a number of excellent projects for students who participate in programming at the Infinity Center!

Infinity has worked in partnership with CRCF since its inception in 1998, and are very thankful to Randy and his staff and Board of Directors for their continued belief in the work that Infinity is doing in Chautauqua County. With support from CRCF, Infinity has recently completed an advertising and marketing project with the help of Abby Rose Designs, to install perforated window film on the main windows of the Infinity Center. With Infinity’s more recent move in 2014, these serve to help make the Infinity Center more prominent from the outside, and help the location stand out to visitors, students, and prospective students alike. Additionally, CRCF supported an equipment grant, which allowed Infinity to make much needed upgrades to sound equipment in the Infinity Arts Café, as well as to purchase new instruments and equipment for student use.

When Infinity began in 1998, and as the program has grown over the last 19 years, the need to seek and provide scholarship assistance to students in need has always been a cornerstone of the Infinity mission. Ensuring that all students with a desire to learn have access to arts education experiences at the Infinity Center is something that has always set Infinity apart. Through tenacious grant seeking as well as support and donations from local businesses and individuals, Infinity has never had to turn a student away. We also thank the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation for their sustained support of our Access to Arts Education scholarship program again in 2017.

Executive Director of the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Randy Sweeney, says, “We continue to be amazed at all Infinity offers members of this community. It has been an absolute joy to watch as they have grown over the last 19 years and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish next!”

According to Infinity’s Executive Director, Shane Hawkins, “The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation is such an asset to our community. We have worked very hard to grow Infinity and provide a safe and creative space for our students. Our students and program have experienced consistent generous support from CRCF staff, committees and board of directors. We are so grateful to have them in our community and be able to partner with them to bring great opportunities to our community’s youth.”
