Hultquist Place HHA Named Employee of Distinction

Catheleen Peterson, HHA at Hultquist Place Assisted Living Program at Lutheran, was honored by LeadingAge New York and Senator Cathy Young’s office as an Employee of Distinction for 2017. The Employee of Distinction award recognizes the extraordinary dedication of direct service and indirect service staff in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other adult care programs throughout New York State. 16 awards are presented each year. Catheleen (left) was presented with a certificate and flowers from Kathy Lynch, Administrator of Hultquist Place (right), as well as a proclamation and two resolutions from Senator Cathy Young’s office which were presented by Susan Rowley (center). James Clyne, president and CEO of LeadingAge New York (not shown), also presented Catheleen with a certificate of achievement. The annual awards from LeadingAge New York are presented to the recipients at their home organizations. At the ceremony, Catheleen was surrounded by her family from home as well as her extended family consisting of coworkers and Hultquist Place residents.
