After tallying all the figures, Campground Owners of New York (CONY) announces today that Hidden Valley Camping Area in Jamestown, New York, operated by June & Bill Woltmann, raised $989.07 in donations for Camp Good Days and Special Times, as part of CONY’s fifth annual statewide fundraising event for charity held throughout 2016.
According to Meghan Lawton, CONY’s Marketing and Communications Director, the association raised a total of $110,933.79 in 2016, bringing CONY’s five-year fundraising total for Camp Good Days to approximately $361,000.
“We are grateful to CONY parks like Hidden Valley Camping Area, as well as their campers and supporters, for helping us raise our largest annual total yet for Camp Good Days and Special Times,” Lawton said. “Camp Good Days provides a service to children and families dealing with an awful disease – a service that is unmet, and we are proud to help them provide these services.”
