The glistening black facade is contrasts with the glowing neon lights hung in the windows. A bold and bright sign declares “Fresco Pizza”, as patrons bustle in from the cold. Owner Sergey Khodzhayam is very pleased with his new shop, inviting the public to come in and taste his excellent food. “We hope to make it a great place for lunch and dinner,” he said.
The building itself is a wonder, with plenty of room, a delightful atmosphere and a central downtown location. “It’s a great location,” Sergey said with a smile. “People use us to meet people, or to have business meetings. Downtown workers also have the option to stop in and pick up their order to take back to the office. “We don’t deliver right now, but we have a lot of pick ups.” Fresco Pizza is always happy to help their customers, in house and take out alike.
Fresco offers a wide variety of options, from pizza to subs, salads and pasta. “Our pizza sells very well and everyone loves our pasta.” From spaghetti Bolognese to Greek salads and more, Sergey’s crew has got lunch and dinner covered. The restaurant boasts 15 different kinds of pizza, not including the custom pizzas made to order. Each menu item is personally approved by the owner himself. “I try every item personally,” he said. “I like the classic Italian sub and the steak and ranch pizza…but I like every item!”
Fresco is also proud to offer a second floor area that is available to customers for parties, meetings and gatherings of any type. “Our second floor can accommodate up to 25 people,” he said. “We already have some parties booked.” Great for Super Bowl parties, birthdays, holidays and more, Fresco can’t wait to make your occasions festive and bright.
Fresco Pizza is located at 2-6 East Second Street in Jamestown, NY. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Sunday, they will stay open until 10 p.m., if there is a football game on.
