The fifth annual LINKS Pink Walk: A Celebration of Courage presented by Jamestown Radiologists and Univera Healthcare will be held at Chautauqua Mall, Chautauqua County’s popular regional shopping mall. This one-mile charity walk, led by breast cancer survivors, will celebrate the courage of those who have faced this disease while offering family-friendly activities, including face painting, coloring tables, a fabulous basket raffle and more. Plus, attendees will paint the mall pink with pink manicures, pink lemonade and pink sweet treats. All proceeds will benefit WCA Hospital and its efforts to enhance breast cancer care for local patients.
Working closely with WCA Hospital, LINKS Charity has adopted a leadership role in the community fight against cancer. The philanthropy’s commitment and passion along with the help of many benevolent volunteers and sponsors over the last 24 years has led LINKS Charity to raise $1,184,000 toward enhancing local cancer care efforts.
The walk will be held on Saturday, October 3. Registration will take place at 10 a.m. The Mall Walk and celebration is from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. It will be held at Chautauqua Mall (inside the mall by The Bon Ton) on 318 East Fairmount Avenue Lakewood, NY 14750
