Summer weather is finally here and so is summer programming at the library!

Our summer reading challenge continues – children, teens, and adults can compete for our grand prizes by reading! All participating children and teenagers receive free books as prizes throughout the summer.

We’re excited to partner with the Roger Tory Peterson Institute again this summer to offer a weekly nature-themed story hour and nature walk! This program runs on Tuesdays at 2:00 – all ages welcome!

The library will offer expanded children’s programming all summer.

• On Monday, Thursday, and Friday mornings at 10:30, stop by for Preschool Makerspace. This new program invites children 6 and under, and their caregivers to come enjoy sensory based play in the Makerspace. Older siblings and friends are welcome.

• Storytimes run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30. Come by for stories, songs, and open play!

• Our regular children’s programming continues, with free, fun activities for kids every weekday from 3:30-5:00. Minecraft Club is every Monday, and the Makerspace is open Tuesdays-Fridays.

• Follow us on Facebook or visit to see our daily schedule of activities in the Makerspace.

We continue to offer a variety of programming for adults, including our genealogy lab, adult coloring club, knitting club, and more. Take a look at the attached programming calendar for more details. All programs are free!
