CSHOF to Present Endowed Legacy Society Awards

The Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame will honor outstanding contributors to Chautauqua County sports by presenting endowed Legacy Society Awards at its 38th annual Induction Dinner on Monday, February 18th, at the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club:
The Bill Rollinger and Tony LeVoie Legacy Award – male swimmer – Matt Roehmholdt, Jamestown High.
The Grace Dolan Legacy Award – female swimmer – Karianne Yuchnitz, Fredonia Central
The Julie (Gawronski) Tickle Legacy Award – female multisport – Madalyn Bowen, Panama Central
The Tom Prechtl Legacy Award – male multisport – Cole Snyder, Southwestern Central
The Ken Martin Legacy Award – baseball – Seth Schrader, Fredonia Central
The Nelson Turnell Legacy Award – male tennis – Neil Gens, Fredonia Central
The Anthony “Dony” Deppas Legacy Award – male basketball – Brady Woleben, Silver Creek Central
The Mel Swanson Legacy Award – female basketball – Erin Radack, Southwestern Central
The Jack Keeney Legacy Awards – outstanding Panama Central athletes – Derek Ecklund and Madalyn Bowen
The Ted Olsen and Bill Present Legacy Awards – outstanding Jamestown High athletes – Bryce Jackson and Allie Stockwell
The James A. Sharp Legacy Award – volunteer – John Bauer – Jamestown Babe Ruth World Series
Inductees in the CSHOF’s Class of 2019 are Cheryl Bailey, Tiffany Decker, Vince Gullo, Chuck Johnston, Jack Harper, Luella Kye, Mike Lopriore, Bob Palcic and Mark Weaver.
The February 18h banquet will begin with a hospitality session at 5:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:00, and award ceremony at 7:00.
Jamestown Cycle Shop, 10 Harrison Street, Jamestown; Matt’s News, 93 E. Third Street, Dunkirk; and the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, 15 W. CSHOF members receive a $5 discount.
