Members of the Crèche, Inc. met at the home of Karen Dennerlein for two days of Lenten sewing sessions at the end of March. Led by the Sewing committee, the ladies cut, assembled, and stitched receiving blankets, fleece throws, and newborn hats for the Pediatric Department of UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital. Founded in 1900, Crèche is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that supports needy children in the Jamestown area. For more information on membership and donations, please visit Crecheforkids.org.
