The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation will be hosting a #GiveThanks Campaign during the month of November. The campaign will run online from November 1st until November 19th.
Community members are invited to submit the name of a local charitable organization and why they are thankful for them this season.
At the close of the campaign, five organizations will randomly be selected from a pool of all valid submissions to each receive a $1,000. Winners will be announced throughout the day on November 27th, #GivingTuesday, on Facebook and the Foundation’s website.
“With the holiday season right around the corner, #GiveThanks helps us celebrate the countless organizations working hard to make a difference in our community throughout the whole year,” said Tory Irgang, Community Foundation executive director.
“The campaign brings together the community and serves as a great opportunity for us to give back on #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving and sharing on social media.”
Eligible organizations must be located in Southern Chautauqua County, or Randolph NY, and hold a charitable status as described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All entries are subject to the full official campaign rules found online.
