A spaghetti dinner, basket auction and bake sale will be held Sunday June 9 from 1-6pm at the Ashville Fire Dept. , 5338 Stow Rd. (the road across from Hogan’s Hut) Proceeds from the event will benefit the Community Cat Alliance fund administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The fund is designed to promote spay, neutering and medical attention for stray animals.

The fund principals, Shannon Bessette and Roberta Thompson noted that the need is great especially this time of the year. We encourage people to care for their pets and assist us in our efforts to control the animal over population situation through spay and neuter. This event will be a fun way to help us with this endeavor. Spaghetti is by Brothers by Choice and the dinner will include salad, bread and a beverage.

Featured among raffle items available at the event is an original folk art painting by nationally known artist Ken Pease. The painting is entitled ”We are all different, We are all beautiful”. The cost of the dinner is $10.00 per person and $5.00 for children 10 and under. Tickets for the dinner and the painting are available by calling Roberta Thompson at 716-664-1080 or at the door.
