Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association
To help celebrate their 10 year anniversary, the Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association is bringing world record holder, accomplished endurance athlete and author, Katie Spotz, to the Reg Lenna Civic Center on February 8th at 6:30 pm. Ms. Spotz set a world record in 2010 as the youngest person to ever row across an ocean alone. While competing in numerous types of endurance races, she has raised over $150,000 for safe drinking water projects in Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Kenya. As the author of “Just Keep Rowing”, Ms. Spotz will give a presentation on her experiences both rowing and competing. Tickets for this event are $15 for adults and $10 for students and can be obtained through the Reg Lenna box office.
