will hold the 6th Annual 5K Run/Walk & Kids’ Hero Run around beautiful Cassadaga Lake, starting and ending at the beach on Park Street in Cassadaga, NY Saturday, September 28, 2019. CAP’s mission is to end child abuse in Chautauqua County, and when abuse occurs, CAP coordinates a community response to bring healing, hope and justice to these children and families. The _Step Up for Kids Run_ is an awareness event to raise funds to support CAP’s counseling and advocacy programs, prevention trainings, forensic interviews and medical evaluations. CAP has two offices, one at 405 West Third Street in Jamestown and another at 40 East Main Street in Fredonia.
The Step Up For Kids 5K is USATF Certified and Sanctioned. Step Up For Kids 5k is also part of the Striders Athletic Club 2019 Runner of the Year Series. Timing will be conducted by Trackqua using chip technology. Proceeds support the Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County.
