Since 2010, members of Chi Sigma Chi have made an annual donation to support youth development programs at the Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club.

The Chi Sigma Chi Remembrance Fund, administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, was established by alumni members of Chi Sigma Chi, a fraternal organization at Jamestown High School from 1926-1975.

For nearly 50 years, members of Chi Sig, and other local fraternities, would play basketball in the gym at the, then called, Boys Club. Members would also utilize the space for meetings and other youth activities.

Today, Chi Sig’s alumni group, known as The Hourglass Club sponsors a reunion picnic for members and their families. This year’s picnic marks the 15th year of this event and will be held on Saturday, August 5 at Viking Lake Park. Guests are asked to bring a dish to pass.

Proceeds from the picnic benefit the Chi Sig Remembrance Fund.
