Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce
The Jamestown community chamber of Commerce is once again pleased to direct traffic to downtown Jamestown as we Turn the River Green for St. Patrick’s Day! The event will take place at the Riverwalk in Brooklyn Square.
The leprechaun will work his magic at 11:00am, Saturday, March 16. Starting at 10:30am you can enjoy our vendors for hot coffee and hot chocolate from Elegant Edibles Catering, and face painting from Eventz by Scott. This is a fun family event certain to draw a crowd!
Jamestown is one of just four communities in the country to hold a Green River event for St. Patrick’s Day. The others are Chicago, Illinois, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Tampa, Florida.
Following the magical Green River event, the Chamber invites the entire community to shop locally where you find the Leprechaun Crossing signs. All businesses are invited to participate. The Chamber will provide a Leprechaun Crossing sign to any interested business. Any business that wants to take part can contact Chamber Coordinator Joanna Dahlbeck at firstname.lastname@example.org. The goal of the Chamber is to move foot traffic from Booklyn Square into the rest of the business community for shopping, brunch, or lunch.
For more information call the Chamber at 484-1101.
