Wits ‘n Giggles Stand-Up Comedy brought to you by Bud Light and Comfort Inn returns to the Northwest Arena Saturday, December 30 at 7:30 p.m. The night features, “The Rock Star of Comedy” Pete George and Josh Morrow.
Feature act, Joshua Morrow began his career as the steward of The Village Idiot at Lakewood Village Tavern, Cleveland’s longest running and most attended open mic. Under Josh’s tenure, this show grew from the usual smattering of local heroes and budding comics to the must visit open mic of the week. He developed an ability to make anyone he brought to the stage feel like a star, and audiences bought in, giving the whole show an event feel despite its humble origins. Following his success on the open mic scene, Morrow started to tour the Midwest and developed a routine that audiences will never forget.
Headliner, Pete George is known as “The Rock Star of Comedy”, and for good reason. A musical upbringing combined with a bright child trapped in an eccentric environment makes for one of the most unique comedy shows that you will ever see. Described as a sitcom waiting to happen, Pete’s variety of comedy and music has the ability to entertain cross-over audiences. After many of his shows, audience members offer their praise by exclaiming, “We can’t wait to see you on TV!”
