The Chautauqua County Humane Society (CCHS) invites you to their reception introducing their new executive director, Kellie Roberts. The event will be held Tuesday, March 14 from 5PM until 7PM at their Strunk Road location.

The public is invited to attend anytime between 5PM and 7PM to meet Ms. Roberts and visit with CCHS staff and board members. Refreshments will be provided.

Kellie, a Falconer Central School graduate, brings with her an impressive background in shelter management, animal care, and nonprofit development. Most recently, Kellie served as the Director of Placement Services for the Animal Friends animal shelter in Pittsburgh, PA. She received her bachelor’s degree in business, management, and economics with a concentration in business and nonprofit management from Empire State College in Jamestown, NY. She also received a bachelor’s degree in literature with a minor in journalism from SUNY Oneonta and an associate’s degree in veterinary technology from SUNY Delhi.

“Kellie brings to CCHS all of the most important qualities we had been seeking in an executive director,” said Maggie Irwin, president of the Board of Directors. “On behalf of the board, we are confident that Kellie can continue to lead CCHS on a path of success. Her record of accomplishment and leadership will help to expand our objectives in the work of animal welfare.”
