A different season…

There is a season between winter and spring. In my house it is called Mud Season. Snow just melts and sunshine doesn’t drip on the carpets, but mud gets everywhere. Somehow, mud on shoes and boots just begs to be stomped off, especially in stores and restaurant lobbies. Stomped mud sprays on everything, especially me… if you’re standing next to me when the mud needs stomping! Please, people – and especially you, the guy at the bank last week who redecorated a bunch of ankles and pants and coats all around him then grinned through his apology because it was Sooo funny.
